Sit ’em: Ronald Jones/ Peyton Barber

This week the Bucs play a dangerously good defensive line led by Aaron Donald; it safe to say stay away from all Bucs running backs this week. Last week against the Giants Jones and Barber combined for 128 yards on 27 carries, but don’t be fooled the Giants defense is not on the same planet as the Rams.

While the Rams are allowing running backs 4.2 yards per carry, the Rams’ electric offense may put up a lot of points fast so the Bucs may have to pass more often to try and stay in the game. Unless you don’t have any other options this week, stay away from any of the Bucs running backs.

Sit ’em: The Bucs defense

If you drafted the Bucs’ defense this year expecting to score a lot of points under new head coach Bruce Arians, you were sadly mistaken. Don’t let the first few games fool you, this defense is still a work in progress. Through three games this year the Bucs have allowed an average of 239.3 passing yards per game this year which ranks 20th in the NFL but only allowed an average of 121.7 rushing yards per game which ranks 8th best in the NFL.

This week they’ll be tested in the run game against Pro Bowl running back Todd Gurley who already has 203 yards rushing this season. Brandin Cooks and Cooper Kupp will also be testing the secondary, who gave up 353 yards to Daniel Jones and the Giants last week.

The Bucs have a flurry of pass rushers in Shaq Barrett who already has 8 sacks this season, along with versatile linebacker Lavonte David and defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh but and Bucs defense have been good for them but they will have their work cut out for them this week.
