The Bucs fell to 1-2 after a second half collapse at home against rookie quarterback Daniel Jones and the New York Giants. This week the Bucs will start a road trip that will keep them away from Raymond James Stadium until November 10th. That trip begins with the dominant Los Angeles Rams.

The Rams are off to a 3-0 start averaging 25.7 points per game. This has the feel of a prove it game for both teams. The Rams want to prove their offense can still be as explosive and the Bucs want to prove the much improved Todd Bowles defense is legit.

Mike Evans had a career half last week racking up 3 touchdowns and over 140 yards but he seemed to be missing the second half. He didn’t make a single catch in the 3rd quarter and only caught 1 pass in the forth. The Bucs seemed to take their foot off the pedal in the second half and played very soft to finish the game. Eventually leading to Matt Gay missing the game winning field goal. After blowing a 18 point lead to a rookie quarterback and a Giants team with no Saquon Barkley it’s hard to see any chance the Bucs take a win in LA.

The Bucs are still struggling to grasp head coach Bruce Arians game plan. The Defensive line led by the NFL sack leader Shaq Barret has been a bright spot but even with sustained pressure all day the secondary was getting exposed time and time again. No doubt the Bucs will get pressure but I think Sean McVay will scheme around it to get his playmakers open. Rams will beat the Bucs 31-17.
