Five games into the 2019 season, and Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston is off to the best start of his career; where does he rank around the league?

Ever since April of 2015, the headlines in regards to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have always revolved quarterback Jameis Winston. Whether it is due to his on-field performance, which has been shaky at best throughout his career in the pewter and red, or off the field where he has been accused of multiple assaults, one in both college and in the pros.

However, this offseason Winston was able to stay out of the spotlight for potentially the first time in his career. With new head coach Bruce Arians and offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich now in town, Winston in off to the best start of his career; just in time as well as Winston is due for a massive contract extension after this season if he plays well all season.

But just how well has Winston played this season for the Buccaneers? His stats indicate a more consistent quarterback, but the gunslinger has failed to throw for barely over 200 yards in multiple games this season, and throwing for less than that mark in the season opener against the San Francisco 49ers.

Winston has, however, bordered on 400 yards passing in two separate games this season as well. In a season where the true Jameis has yet to be revealed, how has he fared against the league average and compared to other quarterbacks in the league?
