Austin Corbett

Given that Cappa was off to a strong start at the right guard position, it is a shame to see him break his arm; kudos to him for playing an entire half of football with a broken arm though. A young offensive lineman who could find himself on the market as well is Austin Corbett of the Cleveland Browns.

Corbett was the 33rd pick in the 2018 NFL Draft of the Browns, but has yet to see the field in Cleveland. This offseason, the Browns traded starting right guard Kevin Zeitler to the New York Giants, convinced that Corbett, a fringe first rounder, could take over the spot; instead Corbett was beat out by free agent Eric Kush for the starting gig.

With Cappa out for at least a few weeks and such a high investment put into Corbett, maybe a change of scenery is what the Nevada product needs to turn his career around. On the verge of being labeled a bust and unable to even crack into the starting lineup along a struggling Browns’ line, he could be on the trade block.

Given the fact that he hasn’t been able to get on the field in Cleveland, one would not think it would take too much to obtain his services. Again, maybe a day three pick would do the trick in order to get Corbett into a Bucs’ uniform.
