Buccaneers defense gets three sacks

The Buccaneers, well, Shaq Barrett recorded three sacks during the first matchup against the Panthers, and the bold prediction here is that they do it again. It will not be Barrett with all three this time, but the defense as a whole will get three on Allen and the Panthers.

Barrett was blanked for the first time all season in the sack category last week, so he will be hungry to add another sack to his league leading total. Vita Vea has been the second best player on the defense, and now with White back in the starting lineup, the Bucs have the speed and firepower to get after Allen this week.

This will also need to be a necessity, as the Bucs’ secondary has been atrocious over the past three weeks, so if they do not get pressure on Allen, then the defense could be in for another long day. Luckily, the Panthers run a lot of deep developing routes with speedsters D.J. Moore and Curtis Samuel, so the Bucs may have a bit more time than usual to get to the quarterback.

Barrett gets one, either White or Lavonte David get one on a blitz, and Vita Vea gets his first sack of the season as well. The Bucs will get to the inexperienced Allen three times on Sunday morning.
