It is no secret that the Buccaneers have seen their fair share of struggles from the offensive tackle position; here are six free agent options in 2020.

It is no secret that the offensive line of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers is in absolute shambles this offseason, thanks in most part to the left and right tackle positions. Demar Dotson and Donovan Smith have not lived up to the standard this season, and quite frankly, there was not much data pointing towards any evidence that they would.

Both Smith and Dotson are grading out at a low 65 overall according to Pro Football Focus (subscription required), and the film shows this grade might be generous. The Bucs will need to replace Dotson in the last year of his contract in Tampa after this season, but unfortunately, Smith is locked in with the pewter and red at least until after the 2020 season.

Not every hole on this roster can be filled through the draft, so the Bucs are going to have to fill some needs in free agency as well. Despite having next to no money to spend this past offseason, Tampa Bay will be flushed with cash to spend on free agents in 2020.

As the offensive line continues to flounder, here are the top five offensive tackles available next year once free agency opens as the Buccaneers must first and foremost build their trenches.
