3. Jack Conklin, Tennessee Titans

After being named as an All Pro as a rookie back in 2016, the Tennessee Titans have refused to pick up Jack Conklin’s fifth year option in 2019. The main reason the Titans, who the Buccaneers face this coming Sunday, did not pick up Conklin’s option is due to the fact that he missed seven games a year ago.

However this season, Conklin has played in every game for the Titans, and is grading out at a 69 overall according to PFF. This grade remains higher than both Dotson’s and Smith’s, as Conklin would be a significant upgrade in Tampa Bay.

The further we get up this list, the more expensive the tackles get, but given the fact that the 6-6 and 308 pound Conklin is only 25 years old and a former top-10 pick, there is plenty to bet on. It is unreasonable to expect the Buccaneers to address every hole in the draft, and that the tackle position has a steep drop off after the first six or seven prospects, getting a young guy like Conklin makes sense.

A former eighth overall pick, All Pro, and just 25 years old. What is there not to like in Conklin for the Buccaneers to pursue him as the potential heir apparent to Dotson.
