DT Ndamukong Suh

Lastly, as the defensive line was a force to be reckoned with in yesterday’s game, one player looked disengaged and uninterested. Veteran Ndamukong Suh has made very little impact for the Buccaneers since signing with the team on a one-year, $10 million deal to replace Gerald McCoy.

Other than his touchdown against the Los Angeles Rams that your truly could have scored, Suh has tallied just a half of a sack, one tackle for loss, and four hits on the quarterback. He is grading out at a replaceable 64.0 according to Pro Football Focus (subscription required), and disappears for games at a time for the pewter and red.

In yesterday’s loss to the Titans, he seemed disinterested in beating one-on-one blocks, and finished with just a tackle. The likes of Vita Vea, William Gholston, Carl Nassib, Shaquil Barrett, and now Jason Pierre-Paul are carrying this Bucs’ defensive line while Suh coasts and cashes checks. Suh is grading out as the lowest PFF performed of all of the names listed and will more than likely be off to his next team in 2020 (whoever will give him the most money).

Ndamukong Suh, walk the plank!
