The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are set to take on the Seattle Seahawks this afternoon; here are five key matchups to watch in this week nine game.

Today is the day that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers take on the Seattle Seahawks in search of their first win in their last four attempts. Ever since taking down the defending NFC champion Los Angeles Rams, the Buccaneers have gone on to lose three straight games.

The 6-2 Seahawks and a west coast time change will be no easy task for the Bucs to overcome, however. The Seahawks are playing some of their best football, and coming off of a loss to the Baltimore Ravens, they will be hungry to get back into the win column and keep pace with the undefeated San Francisco 49ers for the NFC West lead.

After choosing to stand pat at the trade deadline despite multiple rumors of attempting to grab another first round pick and shopping tight end O.J. Howard, the Bucs will trot out the same lineup as they had before this week’s deadline. They seem to be on the fence right now: do they rebuild or do they run it back and try to win in 2020? Sitting still at the deadline means they have not quite made their minds up.

If the pewter and red drop to 2-6 on the season, it will be hard to see them crawling back out of that hole. Can they get back on track with a win in this matchup with the Seahawks, or will their 2019 season slip further out of grasp?
