3.72 Marvin Wilson, DT, Florida State

While the run defense has been stout for the Bucs, a number of players on their defensive front are on expiring contracts in Tampa. Ndamukong Suh is one of those players, and given that he has been in cruise control for weeks, there is little belief he will be back. With that being said, the Buccaneers need to address the interior of their defensive line either in free agency or in the first three rounds of the draft.

To pair with defensive stud Vita Vea, the Buccaneers add Florida State standout Marvin Wilson with the 72nd overall pick here in the third round. Wilson has burst onto the scene this year for the Seminoles despite a terrible season, and now finds himself in the conversation to be a top 80 player in the upcoming draft.

A big boy at 6-5 and 311 pounds, Wilson has already topped his sack total from a year ago and currently has five sacks through nine games from the interior of the Florida State defensive front. Wilson has also added more tackles for loss this season already than he had all of last year with eight and a half tackles behind the line of scrimmage.

Using his length to his advantage, Wilson has also knocked down four passes at the line of scrimmage, which is a high amount for a defensive tackle to have accumulated. The Bucs add some in-state talent here, getting another massive body to play next to Vea for years to come.
