LB Devin White

He has been ascending in the right direction after starting his rookie season with an injury, but Devin White will again need to put a solid game together. White will have his hands full as he will likely be tasked with covering tight end Jared Cook and the lethal running back Alvin Kamara out of the backfield.

Having his best game of his career against the Seattle Seahawks two weeks ago, White tallied 12 total tackles, recorded two hits on Russell Wilson, and forced two fumbles including the impressive chase down swipe of running back Chris Carson. Last week he continued his trend of playing well, and the Buccaneers will need the fifth overall pick to stand tall once again this week against the Saints.

Against Drew Brees, who loves hitting his tight ends and running backs in the passing game, White and running mate Lavonte David must be ready for anything. Kamara is one of the best backs in the league, and stifling him is a surefire way to increase the probability of winning the game on Sunday; Vita Vea and the defensive front will do their job of taking on blockers, so White and David will need to retain gap discipline and put themselves in the correct position or Kamara will make them pay.
