Staying on the defensive side of the ball, the Buccaneers add more firepower to their front five with the addition of edge rusher Darrell Taylor from the University of Tennessee. While they have a formidable pass rush trio right now in Carl Nassib, Shaquil Barrett, and Jason Pierre-Paul, one problem remains: they are all on the last year of their contract.

While hope remains that two of the three will be re-signed, there can be no guarantees that they will. After drafting Anthony Nelson in the fourth round a year ago, they take another edge rusher in the third round here with Taylor, who has the potential to be a riser by the time to draft rolls around.

A redshirt senior for the Volunteers, Taylor has tallied eight tackles for loss and seven sacks in 2019, currently on pace for his total a year ago of eight sacks and 11 tackles for loss. At 6-4 and 255 pounds, Taylor may not have great length, but is a productive and explosive option off the edge.

Even if the Bucs do re-sign two of the three of Pierre-Paul, Nassib, and Barrett, adding Taylor would give the pewter and red a rotation of Nelson and him off the bench to keep the starters fresh.
