Jordan Fuller. 812. Pick Analysis. Round 5. Pick 139. S. player. Scouting Report

Making their first addition to the secondary here in this mock draft (while they should consider signing a veteran cornerback), the Bucs take Ohio State safety Jordan Fuller here in the fifth round of this mock draft. While Jordan Whitehead has had an improved season for the Bucs, and they just drafted Mike Edwards a year ago, another young and athletic option would be a wise investment.

Edwards has struggled to find the field with much consistency this year, and when he did, he had his best game in the nickel role. With that being said, the Bucs may need to add another true free safety who can play over the top of their struggling secondary. Fuller can fill that rangey, over the top safety role well.

The 6-2 and 205 pound Buckeye has tallied two interceptions, and two passes defended this season in Columbus, Ohio. For his career, the senior safety has recorded five interceptions, eight passes defended, and five tackles for loss from the third level of the Buckeye defense.

Expected to test off the charts at the combine, Fuller could grab the attention of teams this Spring. Fuller is a name to keep an eye on as we inch closer to the end of the season and nearer to the draft.
