Buy: The rookie corners

Many scouts and coaches say that outside of quarterback, playing corner is the hardest thing for a rookie to excel at early on. So far, Jamel Dean and Sean Murphy-Bunting have been more than advertised; Murphy-Bunting recorded a pick-six and played sound coverage overall.

Dean got hit with a pass-interference, but Danny Amendola made a beast play to put the Lions in the red zone. Dean would bounce back and tip a pass for Darian Stewart would intercept (later review would overturn) but both had a very solid day on the afternoon.

Buy: Perriman will get another chance (either with TB or elsewhere)

Breshad Perriman recorded a 3 touchdown performance to cap off a great three game run for him. With Evans out for the year and Godwin possibly out injured, he’s gone from goat to the number one option for this offense. He has stepped up and will look to be the number one option next week vs. the Texans.

Perriman has played well enough for another team to give him a shot so the Bucs will have yet another tough decision to make this offseason. Just as he did with the Cleveland Browns a year ago, Perriman has done just enough to usher in another deal with another team (or the Bucs for that matter) in 2020.
