Throwing for 450 yards in back-to-back games for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, quarterback Jameis Winston is beginning to prove his doubters wrong.

There’s a good chance that if you know me, if you have kept up even a little with my writing, seen me around on Buccaneers Social Media sites, you know that I fall into the anti-Winston side of the debate. Apparently and unfortunately, falling in against Jameis Winston motivates many of his followers to claim you are mostly one of two things: a hater or an idiot.

I have never wished doom and gloom upon our starting quarterback, I have always cheered him on, and hoped for the best. Lately to my welcomed surprise, he is giving us the best and no one could be happier; he is playing better than anyone right now.

I don’t see the Bucs letting him go no matter what happens for the remainder of the season as his record setting game against the Lions, becoming the first player in the National Football League to throw for 450 plus in back to back games, has cemented him to the team without a doubt.

My feelings against Mr. Winston, has always been trust: how can you trust a player that sets interception records? How can you put your faith into a player that can melt down at any point and throw five interceptions in a game?

What if he has one of those games in the playoffs, NFC Championship, or the Super Bowl? If you go that far and Jameis melts? Were all the wins prior even worth it?
