Buccaneers defense almost saves team from well-deserved loss

Despite the best efforts of the Buccaneers defense, the team fell short against the Texans in their penultimate game of the season.

Yes, technically the Houston Texans defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 23-20. Yes, they did technically overcome the Bucs overcoming a 17-3 deficit to tie things up 17-17. These things are accurate, but they don’t really tell the whole story. To be clear, I’m not taking anything away from the performance of the Houston Texans.

Despite adversity, the Texans powered through and were able to secure the win when all was said and done. I wish them the best of luck in the playoffs.Now, let’s talk about the Bucs. Despite an amazing performance by the Buccaneers’ defense, the Buccaneers’ offense ultimate made sure they wouldn’t walk out of this game with a win.

The Buccaneers’ offense knew they didn’t deserve to win this game, and they made sure they got the appropriate results. Before I get to the core offensive issue, it has to be noted that some blame lies elsewhere.
