It’s time to transition to Jones full-time

Not giving the running game, specifically Ronald Jones, the consistent chance to take some of the load off of Jameis Winston would be a waste of talent. I’ve heard on Buccaneers Social Media sites that we need to draft a true starting running back when the 2020 NFL Draft rolls around in April. Horse apples! We already have a young stud at RB1 in the pewter and red.

His name is Ronald Jones, and all he needs is the ball more often, and a chance to grow and develop into being all that he is capable of being. A little love in the form of some offensive line help that can run block would prove to help Jones tremendously; that’s not asking too much is it? We have a true weapon in Ronald Jones, and we are wasting it.

What is really happening with Jameis Winston’s future?. dark. Next

With all that he can do, the fact that he nor Barber eclipsed the century mark in rushing yards this year in any game is hard to understand. Let’s hope this is the last season that this ugly stat rears it’s head and the Buccaneers can show a commitment to the run game in week 17 and into 2020 and beyond.
