3. Sometimes it’s better to start fresh

Jameis Winston just played his fifth season of football and Tampa Bay was no closer to the playoffs this year than it was when he first started.

Since Winston started with the Bucs, Tampa Bay has finished second in the NFC South Division just one time and has only had one winning season (9-7 during that same year in 2016), as well.

The Buccaneers needed a new coach and elected to bring in Bruce Arians to turn the franchise around. Maybe the organization needs a new quarterback, as well?

It’s not to say that Winston can’t get the job done, but sometimes it’s just better to start fresh. This team has talent on its roster to play around the quarterback position and perhaps a breath of fresh air would do the franchise some good after years of mediocrity.
