The same people that will be upset with the idea of parting from Breshad Perriman will also have a problem with the suggestion that the Bucs should move on from Ndamukong Suh. Perhaps those people can come up with the money to pay these players.

There is no analytics or statistical analysis that backs up the Buccaneers paying Suh at his current rate. Suh is past his prime and should not be payed as though he is in it.

While he shouldn’t be brought back near 10 million per year, Suh would absolutely be a steal for half that price, but this scenario seems very unlikely. While breakups are rarely ever mutual, this move would likely be to the benefit of both teams.

The Bucs would not struggle to find a replacement for Suh on the field and his role as a leader on the team was largely supplanted by the likes of Lavonte David and Jason Pierre-Paul.

As he is not the biggest leader on the defense, his level of play has diminished, and he is just far too expensive, the right choice for the Buccaneers would be to move on from Ndamukong Suh, draft a replacement (Javon Kinlaw), and use the extra money to sign free agents.
