Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Why trading up for QB Joe Burrow is worth it

1. Automatically in the playoff hunt

Even with what the Buccaneers would likely have to give up to get Burrow, one thing’s for sure: The organization would automatically be in the playoff hunt.

Though you’d lose some options, there’s no reason to believe that Tampa Bay couldn’t replace those positions and the franchise would have more cap space moving forward with Burrow on his rookie contract.

The Buccaneers would be set for runs to the playoffs for years to come with the addition of Burrow and that- in and of itself- is a reason to at least consider the move.

Is it likely to happen? No.
