Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Could Teddy Bridgewater be a fit at QB?

3. The Bucs have the cap space

The Buccaneers are one of the few teams in the league with the cap space to pay for a quarterback and still have room left over to fill other positions.

With more than $90 million in projected cap room, Tampa Bay could easily offer Bridgewater a semi-lengthy contract with an average of $30 million per year with incentives.

Bridgewater is going to want to get paid and Tampa is one of the few organizations that can provide that for him- should the Saints choose to bring back Brees.

Bridgewater will certainly listen- more so than some of the other guys in free-agency- and would likely deeply consider an offer from the Bucs should it top or compete with other offers that he’ll get this offseason.
