Tampa Bay Buccaneers: 11 prospects to consider drafting in first round

7. S Xavier McKinney, Alabama

Sticking at safety, Alabama’s Xavier McKinney would be another option with a similar story to Delpit.

At this point, I like McKinney better because he shows more ball awareness and more success in coverage situations.

The Buccaneers absolutely will have to address the safety position- either through free-agency or the draft- and McKinney would be a guy that could come in and compete for a starting position right away.

Depending on how the draft lines up, the Bucs may be able to trade back and still get McKinney, but that all remains to be seen.
