The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are one of the hotter names to lure Tom Brady away from the New England Patriots in free-agency this offseason.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have made it clear over the course of this offseason that they are considering every option when it comes to filling the quarterback position.

Though the most likely scenario for the Buccaneers involves bringing Jameis Winston back- either through the franchise tag or on a short-term extension- there has been more talk from national and local media members as of late about the possibility of bringing in veteran QB Tom Brady.

ESPN’s Jeff Darlington reported that he would be ‘stunned’ if Brady stayed in New England at this point, and Ian Rapoport reported that Brady’s agent Don Yee is in Indianapolis meeting with other teams.

Though it’s uncertain whether Brady would truly leave New England- or consider Tampa Bay– here are three reasons why it would be an absolute perfect fit for the Buccaneers.

3. Brady would excel in the system

For those saying that Tom Brady wouldn’t excel in Tampa Bay’s offensive system, you clearly haven’t watched Brady play.

Brady would make the Buccaneers’ offensive line look better because he’d be getting the ball out quicker. In addition, he would have one of the most talented wide receiver cores in the league to work with- something he has never been able to have in his arsenal in New England.

All of that would lead to him smoothly directing Bruce Arians’ offense and making Tampa Bay a potent threat for any defense.
