As the Tampa Bay Buccaneers continue to sift through prospects at the NFL Combine, one interior defensive lineman should pique interest.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will have some major decisions to make in the 2020 NFL Draft in less than a couple of months.

The Buccaneers will look to address several different positions, including offensive tackle, defensive line, safety, wide receiver, cornerback and running back.

While the Buccaneers continue to sift through prospects, here’s a look at an interior defensive tackle who may be the most underrated player in the draft.

Most Underrated Prospect in the Draft:

Ohio State’s Davon Hamilton is an absolute monster, but he’s not projected to go in the first-round or even the second-round.

When looking at his film, you can see the raw power, strength and great technique, but analysts cooled on him because of his seeming ‘lack of production’ in the middle of the Buckeyes’ defensive line.

Though analysts and scouts aren’t raving about Hamilton, the truth is that he’s easily an NFL-caliber player and an absolute gem to be taken in the third-round. Hamilton has all the attributes- size, power, strength and technique- to be a successful defensive lineman at the next level and could fit into Tampa Bay’s system quite well if Ndamukong Suh wasn’t re-signed.

Even if Suh is re-signed, Hamilton would give the Buccaneers elite depth in that front-seven and a versatility option. He played against some of the strongest offensive lines in the country- in the Big Ten and against Clemson in the CFB Playoff- and was extremely successful.

Is he going to get the love of Javon Kinlaw or a Derrick Brown? No.

But if the Buccaneers are looking for a defensive lineman who has Pro Bowl ability, Hamilton may be the best ‘value pick’ in the draft and he’s certainly one of the most underrated prospects in the 2020 NFL Draft.
