5. Tampa Bay should try to trade Cameron Brate

Of all of the positions from this combine, the tight ends probably impressed the least. That doesn’t mean that they aren’t talented players but it seems likely that the Bucs could get away with drafting a competent replacement for Brate without using a premium pick.

Brate has been an important part of the Buccaneer offense but the Bucs could trade him for some much-needed cap space and find a replacement that could grow into the position.

6. The Bucs need to bring back Jason Pierre-Paul

If the Buccaneers want to keep their pass rush intact the best way to accomplish this is to keep Shaquil Barrett and JPP on the roster. Barrett is a given at this point but the jury remains out on Pierre-Paul.

The pass rushers in this class left something to be desired at times and the Bucs would be better off focusing on the deeper positions that have more proven players and looking at finding a young edge player in the 2021 Draft Class.

7. Jordan Love could become a Buccaneer

The Jameis Winston situation in Tampa Bay has only worsened throughout this past weekend. The Buccaneers being against the idea of giving Winston the franchise tag could be the kiss of death when all things are considered.

If the Bucs did want to move on from Winston, Jordan Love did show a decent amount of upside in his workouts with a combination of speed and accuracy. With Bruce Arians as his coach Love could be a star in Tampa Bay if the cards fall the right way.
