Leonard Fournette is another player who may be looking for a way out from Jacksonville down the road as the team looks primed for rebuilding yet again. This is certainly not the same team that was poised to go to the Super Bowl just a few short years ago.

The Jaguars have seemingly reached a low point of sorts as many of the top names are searching for an out.

Jalen Ramsey was traded during the middle of the season, Yannick Ngakoue has requested to test free agency even though the Jaguars seem ready to use the franchise tag on him, and Jacksonville recently traded new CB1 A.J. Bouye to the Denver Broncos.

Fournette has probably looked at the situation and sees the writing on the wall: this Jags team is far away from making another run at the AFC Championship.

The Bucs could make a run at Fournette down the road when he becomes a free agent and bring in a player that has a very high ceiling when he can keep out of trouble. Bruce Arians would be the perfect coach to prevent future trouble and Fournette would be a good fit if the Bucs aren’t satisfied with the growth of Ronald Jones down the road.

Fournette was a beast between the tackles in 2019 with 1,152 rushing yards and was also a surprisingly successful pass-catcher with 76 receptions for 522 yards.

This match would make sense if both parties were interested and the Bucs would get a great dual-threat back while Fournette would get the best coach that he has played for as well as a far more complete offense than he is used to playing with.
