What if the Tampa Bay Buccaneers don’t re-sign Jameis Winston? What are the top landing spots for the former Florida State quarterback?

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are seemingly exploring all of their options when it comes to filling the quarterback position during the 2020 offseason.

The Buccaneers have reportedly expressed interest in several free-agent QBs like Tom Brady, Teddy Bridgewater and Philip Rivers, while also showing intrigue to players in the draft like Jordan Love and Jacob Eason.

So, what if Tampa Bay does pull the trigger and signs one of these free-agents or chooses to officially part ways with Jameis Winston?

Here’s a look at five of the top landing spots for Winston outside of the Buccaneers.

5. Chicago Bears

The Chicago Bears are seemingly trying at all costs to get rid of Mitchell Trubisky.

The Bears are one of the darkhorse candidates for the Tom Brady sweepstakes, but what if Chicago falls short?

If the Bears can find a trade partner, Jameis Winston would certainly be an upgrade compared to Trubisky and would likely be used as a transition QB as the Bears start over and look to rebuild after an awful draft decision.

It’s not out of the realm of possibility and would be a nice fit for Winston looking to hit the ‘reset button.’
