Cuts, Restructures, and Trades

Cuts

MJ Stewart- 500K savings

Kendall Beckwith- 750K savings

Restructures:

Mike Evans– $5 mil saved

Ali Marpet– $5 mil saved
The Bucs have to be all in this season given the Super Bowl being in Tampa, BA needing to get over .500, and breaking the playoff streak, creating $10 million will go a long way with that.

Trade

Cameron Brate: Trade to NE Patriots for 4th (from Bears) – (Cap savings of $6 million)
With Jameis possibly not being around in this scenario, coupled with the cap number, and the lack of use of TE’s, Brate is expendable and nets a draft pick that can be used for a solid depth piece or a chip to help move up in the draft. With Brady most likely returning to the patriots, he needs a TE like Brate around.

Updated Cap Space: $53.75 million
