What you have is an unknown when it comes to Ryan Griffin. For a player who never did anything in a pre-season game to hurt his chances of getting a regulation start, it seems as though the situation could be handled differently.

Griffin could be about a whole lot of nothing. Then again he could be a Gardner Minshew or a Kyle Allen, waiting to get that chance to show what he can do in a real game.
I’m just saying, he’s on the team, he’s getting paid. Isn’t it worth finding out how good he can be? It’s a slim chance that he could be the answer. But, what if he was and you never gave it a chance?

If he’s a capable enough player to continually get re-signed then he should be capable of playing well in regular-season games. If he cannot, then why is he employed by One Buc?
Is it that the Bucs like him as a third option better than a second? So they keep bringing in guys to be the #2 guy, and Griffin falls in at the three spot behind number two. Right where they like him? Is it me? Anyone else think this way?

Is he somebody in the organization’s nephew, or grown love child, or? What is it I’m missing here. If they never try this kid, or at least install him as the direct backup to Jameis instead of signing another quarterback, why is he still here?

I heard he is listed as the NFL’s top 3rd string quarterback. Maybe the best in its history. I’m joking of course but I’m still Just wondering what is the thinking behind him being here.
