Griffin has been drawing a National Football League Franchise paycheck for soon to be 8 seasons. He has played in one series of 3 downs, throwing two passes (neither were intercepted I might add).

According to his career earnings, those two regular-season passes he threw, were worth two million, seven hundred and three thousand, eight hundred and eighty-five dollars apiece.

Considering the average League career is 3.3 years, Ryan has doubled that already. He’s on a good run no doubt. It’s time to see if this guy can play or not past pre-season well.

If he never throws another pass in the regular season, he is probably set for life off of just those two. I could have done that, heck I would have thrown double that no problem. How about you?

While Ryan Griffin has been on the team for some time, he is certainly an interesting prospect due to his success in the preseason and then immediately disappears for the duration of the regular season.

Regardless of what happens with free agency this upcoming offseason, Buccaneers can take heart in the fact that the team will have a solid quarterback to use in the preseason for what it is worth.

No one may ever know what the Bucs have in Griffin, but these questions are certainly worth asking, especially when the team is in a playoff slump like it is now.

I wonder if anyone else had asked these questions concerning the soon to be six year Buccaneer veteran. Beyond everything else, I guess you would have to shake old Ryan’s hand and congratulate him.
