The Tampa Bay Buccaneers set the NFL world on fire Tuesday when it was reported that the organization would sign Tom Brady, but that may not be it.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers fanbase is still in shock with the latest reports that QB Tom Brady is expected to sign a deal with the organization.

The Buccaneers made it clear during the 2020 offseason that they were prioritizing Brady and absolutely made a big-time pitch to land the six-time Super Bowl winner.

Despite the big move that is expected to have a hit to the salary cap of about $30 million per year, Tampa Bay still has some room remaining and is reportedly not done yet.

NFL Analyst Cecil Lammey said that the Buccaneers could potentially be making a move to add an explosive running back to the roster.

Gurley, who is currently the running back for the Los Angeles Rams, has had his name come up in trade talks as the organization looks to offload his contract- which would currently have a cap hit of $17.25 million in 2020.

In addition to considering an explosive option like Gurley in the backfield, the Buccaneers are looking to add a speedy wide receiver to their wide receiver core and there has even been talk of Tampa Bay bringing in Antonio Brown– which be an absolutely huge name to serve as an addition to Brady and that already-talented wide receiver core.

The Buccaneers have already used the franchise tag on EDGE-rusher Shaquil Barrett and Tampa Bay brought back Jason Pierre-Paul on a two-year deal worth $27 million with incentives included. In addition to bringing those two guys back, Carl Nassib elected to sign with the Raiders on a 3-year, $25 million deal.

There’s still a lot to be determined about this 2020 offseason and it wouldn’t be surprising at all to see Tampa Bay make some power moves through the rest of this spring.

dark. Next. Could Jameis Winston serve as Tom Brady's back-up?

The organization is dedicated to getting better and becoming a legitimate playoff contender and that all starts with some big decisions through the next month.
