In an offseason saga for the ages, it looks like Tamp Bay may be about to bag the free agent of the decade in the form of quarterback Tom Brady.

As early as this morning, news outlets had determined that free agent, Tom Brady, had narrowed his 2020 destinations down to the Los Angeles Chargers and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Today on The Herd, led by football commentator Colin Cowherd, Colin dropped a huge bombshell on live air. In it, he appears to be sure of himself that Tom Brady will sign with the Buccaneers as early as tomorrow.

"“I am told Tampa is the choice and he will sign tomorrow… This is not a ‘football source’, it’s a ‘icon source’, it is somebody in Tom’s stratosphere that knows Tom, that is a famous person, and he says Tampa.”"

As if the national radio legend didn’t stir the pot enough, shortly after a local, respected radio personality in the Boston area, Dave Arnold, seemed to confirm it as well.

Arnold has seemingly come out of nowhere with this news but is someone worth believing due to his connections in the New England area.

While it is easy to get wrapped up in all of the excitement, Bucs fans should go into tomorrow with some caution. During the legal tampering period, nothing is set in stone.

Greg Auman of The Athletic put it best in the following Twitter post:

Regardless of what ends up happening, this offseason has already begun with a bang for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the next 24 hours will prove to be very interesting.
