Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Ranking the top free-agency moves in 2020
4. Moving on from Breshad Perriman
Breshad Perriman was probably the best third-option wide receiver in the league last season.
That’s the reason he earned an $8 million deal with the New York Jets.
That being said, it just wouldn’t have been justifiable for the Buccaneers to make a commitment to Perriman for that amount of money. Though Perriman is a solid option, he still would’ve fallen behind Chris Godwin and Mike Evans.
Because of that, the Bucs made the right decision to move on from the wide receiver and, instead, address the position in the draft.
