3. Short-term deal for Jason Pierre-Paul
The Bucs didn’t just get their second-leading pass-rusher back, they locked him in for two seasons.
Jason Pierre-Paul, who many believed might price out the Bucs before it was all said and done this offseason, re-signed with Tampa Bay for $27 million including incentives.
Though that deal might seem a little high, the truth is that he’ll be making right at $12.5 million per year and that is a quality signing for a guy that could prove to be one of the next great up-and-coming pass-rushers.
