The chances are slim, but certainly not impossible. Here’s how Tom Brady wins an MVP Award as a part of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers hit a ‘home run’ when they made the announcement that they had signed QB Tom Brady to a deal to bring the 43-year-old veteran to the Bay area.

The Buccaneers were looking for an upgrade at the position and wanted to bring in a veteran with experience who could lead the team while also effectively running Bruce Arians’ offensive system.

Tom Brady fit the bill perfectly.

As the Buccaneers prepare for the upcoming 2020 season, there are thoughts that this team could be ready to break a 12-year streak of missing the playoffs.

If that happened could Tom Brady find himself in the MVP discussion? Here’s a look at the three steps for Brady to potentially win an MVP with the Buccaneers. It should be noted that his odds currently sit at +2000, which is good enough for eighth in the league, tied with Drew Brees and Aaron Rodgers.

Step 1: Put up the stats

The first thing Brady has to do to get in the discussion is pretty simple: Put up some eye-popping numbers.

It’s not to say that he has to throw for 5,000 yards, particularly, but he has to show major improvement from Jameis Winston’s numbers a year ago. That means he keeps the interceptions to a minimal, throws some impressive touchdown passes and beefs up the passing yardage when possible.

Brady should be expecting somewhere around 600 passing attempts for the season and that will give him the opportunity to throw for well over 4,500 yards and impress the voters.
