The Tampa Bay Buccaneers were one of the top winners from the free-agency period. Here’s a look at our grades from the Bucs’ signings.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers made some major moves this offseason by bringing back some key personnel and choosing to move on from others.

The Buccaneers are looking to end a streak of 12-straight seasons with a playoff berth and that all begins with making the right roster moves in the offseason, in both free-agency and the draft.

As we head into draft season, here’s a look back at our grades for the free-agency period pertaining to the Bucs.

Mid-Level Re-signings/Restructures

The Bucs brought back a ton of guys to fill out the roster and provide depth, and that includes the players listed above. Tampa Bay elected the re-up the deal with Kevin Minter for another year, keeping him in the fold, and they elected to bring back two solid depth pieces on the defensive side of the ball in Andrew Adams (who could potentially be a statrter) and Rakeem Nunez-Roches.

The latest announcement was that the Buccaneers would be bringing back Blaine Gabbert to serve as the back-up to Tom Brady. Gabbert will provide great knowledge as a guy who has been in Bruce Arians’ system for a year now and that will be a valuable service for Brady as he makes his way to Tampa.
