Grading the Tampa Bay Buccaneers free-agency signings

Using the franchise tag on Shaq Barrett only made sense.

The tag locks in Barrett for another year and gives both parties the time they need to structure a long-term deal.

In addition to having time to carefully construct a long-term deal, Barrett can now be evaluated over the course of another season. That will give the Buccaneers more insight as to what they should offer and just how good Barrett can prove to be.
