Tom Brady holds nothing back in interview with Howard Stern
Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Tom Brady appeared on the Howard Stern Show and held absolutely nothing back during the two-hour interview.
Tom Brady knew well before the 2019 season began that he wouldn’t be a part of the New England Patriots the next season.
Brady, who signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this offseason, appeared on the Howard Stern Show Wednesday morning to conduct a two-hour interview. During that time, Brady held nothing back.
He talked about his time in New England, his relationships with Bill Belichick, as well as a variety of other issues throughout the interview.
Brady said he had no resentment towards Bill Belichick as he moves forward, but that the coach didn’t make him a Patriot for life. Though Tom Brady was very complimentary of his former teammates, when he was asked if he would like to see the Patriots win the Super Bowl, he was very clear in saying that he wanted his team to be Super Bowl winners.
When talking about what made him feel that it was time, Tom Brady said he never cared about his legacy. He just wanted to give the best he had no matter where he was playing.

Brady said that he is still working as hard as he has ever been and, though he is 43 years old, he’s not ready to put it all up yet. Stern even went on to ask him if he was better than Joe Montana and Brady gave an extremely dignified response saying that it was all subjective.
On a few non-football related issues, Tom Brady joked about having Derek Jeter as a landlord, said that he smoked marijuana when he was in high school, and even answered questions about his relationship with President Donald Trump.

Without Belichick’s media restrictions, it has been extremely interesting to hear from Brady and see him open up about his recent decisions and his former team.
One thing’s for sure as we move forward: Tom Brady is holding nothing back.
