Moving on from the Vipers and the offensive side of the ball, the Buccaneers could use some depth at safety even if they use a draft pick on that position.

There are many question marks for the Buccaneers and their current safeties. Andrew Adams has experienced flashes of talent and looks to be in a good place to start. Jordan Whitehead also has moments of playing at a high level but struggles in coverage at times.

The Buccaneers did use a draft pick on Mike Edwards last year and he showed flashes but is still unproven. Lastly, it seems as though it is time for Tampa Bay to move on from Justin Evans. The injuries may be too great to come back from, and an incredibly promising NFL career could be cut short.

The biggest issue for the Bucs is that all of the options have some upside, but they have all failed to solidify themselves. Bringing in a new free agent like Rahim Moore, who was a second-round pick for the Denver Broncos in 2011, could provide the competition necessary to help the safeties up their game.

Moore had two interceptions and a forced fumble in five games for the DC Defenders. Throughout his five-year career in the NFL, Moore had nine interceptions and 21 passes defended.

He may have been out of the NFL for some time now, but Rahim Moore could be an option for the Buccaneers in their improving secondary.
