The Buccaneers are coming off of one of their most successful drafts in recent years, and the following moves could take Tampa Bay over the top.

For the first time in what has felt like an eternity, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers pulled off a draft where they didn’t have any glaringly wrong moves.

The 2020 draft class for the Buccaneers stands to be one of their best in a long time, and that is saying something considering how well the class of 2019 performed.

On top of the draft, the Bucs have been extremely successful in the free-agent market. All of the defensive starters from 2019 are returning to the team, and Tampa Bay also added Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski to the roster.

Jason Licht and Bruce Arians have constructed an impressive roster that has the legs to compete with almost any team in the NFL in 2020. A Super Bowl appearance is probably too high a mountain to climb in the first year of the Brady era, but the likelihood of a playoff appearance has shot up exponentially.

The last playoff appearance for the Buccaneers was back in the 2007 season, but now Tampa Bay can turn the corner on the horrific past decade that the team has been stuck in and look towards a very bright future.

While the moves during this offseason have been great, there is still some work to do. There are holes in the depth chart, rookies whose roles need to be evaluated, and some trade options that the Buccaneers should consider before the start of the season.

The future looks promising, but the Bucs have to play the next few months carefully. Free agency has not yet concluded, and Tampa Bay can still be aggressive with their cap space during this win-now period.

Here are the five best moves that the Buccaneers can make to prepare the team for the 2020 season.
