The Tampa Bay Buccaneers had an opportunity to bring in some talent following the draft and did just that. However, here are five UDFAs they missed on.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers made some big-time moves during the 2020 NFL Draft that made the team better overall.

The Buccaneers selected talented OT Tristan Wirfs with the No. 13 overall pick- after trading up one spot- and then followed that up by picking S Antoine Winfield Jr. in the second-round.

Tampa Bay came out of the draft addressing several key needs and looks to be in position to make a run at the playoffs for the first time in 12 seasons.

Following the draft, there’s always a fun period where we see undrafted free-agents sign with a team. Here are five undrafted free-agents we would’ve loved to see the Buccaneers come away with.

5. Bryce Perkins, QB

Bryce Perkins had better measurables, more athleticism and better numbers than Jalen Hurts, but yet he ended up going undrafted.

The Buccaneers signed QB Reid Sinnett (San Diego State) to compete at the position, but it certainly would’ve been nice to see Perkins get an opportunity to make the roster.

Even if his quarterback skills- which were certainly on display in college- weren’t enough at the next level, Perkins has the athleticism to contribute and could’ve worked his way onto the roster in some role moving forward.

Perkins signed a deal with the Los Angeles Rams.
