Buccaneers: Top 3 steals of the 2020 NFL Draft for Tampa Bay

2. Antoine Winfield Jr. (Second Round)

You want to talk about position need meets value? That’s exactly what the Buccaneers got with their second-round selection of S Antoine Winfield Jr.

Winfield Jr. should not have been around in the middle portion on the second-round. There were some analysts that had him going as high as a late first-rounder.

Even so, the draft saw safeties go a little lower than what many thought coming into the weekend and, as a result, Winfield Jr. fell right into Tampa Bay’s lap.

The Bucs needed a safety to shore up the secondary and they couldn’t have gotten much better than Winfield Jr. here in the second-round.
