Ryan Jensen: Chewbacca

The Ryan Jensen/Chewbacca comparison is pretty obvious at first glance. At 6’4” 319 pounds, Jensen is already a Wookie-like figure physically, but the hair really ties it all together. Jensen’s long hair is likely the best on the team, and if he refrained from shaving for a little bit, the comparison could be even more apparent.

Aside from the visual aspects, Chewbacca and Jensen both play a similar role on their teams as the muscle. Jensen was one of the best parts of the Buccaneer offensive line in 2019 and was a vital part of keeping the unit away from a bottom ranking in the league.

Unfortunately for his workload, when strength is concerned, Chewbacca is often in a league of his own in Star Wars. Very rarely does anyone else pick up and throw a Stormtrooper (unless they use the force), and Chewbacca has always been one of the strongest characters in the franchise.

While he has at times been on his own on the offensive line, Ryan Jensen will be a big part of the line’s success in 2019. His role is imperative, much like that of Chewbacca.

Hopefully, Ryan Jensen can tap into some Wookie strength before the 2020 season and keep his dominance up in the trenches to protect Tom Brady.
