The offensive line is set to return four players, and there is no reason to assume that any of them will be replaced.

Donovan Smith had an up and down 2019 season, but overall it showed an improvement, especially on passing downs. It is also worth noting that the Buccaneers still owe Smith a decent amount of money, and it is unlikely that he will move on soon.

Ali Marpet and Ryan Jensen are two of the best interior offensive linemen in the league. The biggest issue with the line for Tampa Bay in the past has been the tackles, but Marpet and Jensen will see to it that Brady is protected along the inside.

Alex Cappa had the season that everyone expected. During his first full year as a starter, Cappa did struggle at times but shows enough upside that it seems unlikely that he will be replaced this year. Cappa’s seat could heat up if he fails to maintain a consistent level of play, but the expectation is that he is a big part of this line’s future.

The final lineman is the one who has gotten the most buzz, Tristan Wirfs. The Bucs traded up in the first round to take Wirfs, and they are hoping for a massive return on their investment. Joe Haeg is a slight competitor for this role, but given Wirfs’ tape and athleticism, the job is his to lose.
