4. Rob Gronkowski just takes up space

The Buccaneers are taking on quite the contract to have Rob Gronkowski on the roster for a year.

Perhaps one of the worst fears of the Tampa faithful is to see the formerly-retired veteran come out and not be able to perform at a high level.

No one expects that we’ll see the Gronkowski of yester-year. No one is thinking that he’ll come out and be one of the top tight ends in the league again. But, what if he’s simply just taking up a roster spot?

There’s always that fear until we see him on the field. I don’t think it will happen and I believe Gronk will be ready to contribute- both on the field and in the locker room as a leader- but you still have to hope for the best and fear the worst until we see it.
