Tom Brady, Phil Mickelson set to take on Tiger Woods, Peyton Manning

Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Tom Brady will team up wit Phil Mickelson to take on Tiger Woods and Peyton Manning in a charity golf match on Sunday at Medalist Golf Club in Hobe Sound, Florida.

The 18-hole match, which has been pegged Champions for Charity, will see the four men compete to raise money to help fight the coronavirus pandemic. Broadcast coverage will begin at 3 p.m. with several major stations, including TNT, TBS, TruTV and HLN all showing the match.

Mickelson and Woods are multiple-time champions on the golf course while Tom Brady and Peyton Manning are both future Hall of Famers on the gridiron.

As we approach the start of the golf match, here’s a look at some of the interesting prop best, according to Outkick the Coverage.

Could Tom Brady beat Tiger Woods in golf?

Outright Winner

  • Woods & Manning (-200)
  • Mickelson & Brady (+170)

First to go 1 Up

  • Woods & Manning (-150)
  • Mickelson & Brady (+120)

Most Fairways hit off the Tee on the Back 9

  • Manning (-105)
  • Tie (+600)
  • Brady (+140)

Tiger Woods and Peyton Manning get the edge on Phil Mickelson and Tom Brady when it comes to who wins the match, according to the odds.

Though we shouldn’t expect to see great golf from the match, it still should be interesting to see how Brady performs and if he can somehow add another big-time name (Tiger Woods) to his list of victories- this time a different sport. Of course, if he does, it will likely largely be because of Phil Mickelson’s performance.

Here’s a couple of other interesting Vegas odds:

  • Brady to hit a shot in the water before Manning (+100)
  • Brady to Outdrive his passing yards (310) vs. Denver in 2015 on any hole (+300)

It doesn’t seem that Vegas has much faith in Brady driving a ball 300-plus yards, but it does think there’s a chance Peyton Manning finds the water before the current Bucs QB does.

In the end, this is all just in fun. It will be an afternoon full of trash talk and some intriguing conversations. The golf likely won’t be up to par, but it’s still live sports on the television, so that’s something.
