Three players that could be traded to the Buccaneers by the beginning of the season
By Seth Hibel
A.J. Green, WR, Cincinnati Bengals
A.J. Green is an extremely talented Wide Receiver and would be the number one guy on most teams’ depth charts, especially if he can stay healthy.
Things are beginning to look up for Cincinnati as they just drafted Joe Burrow and Tee Higgins for added offensive help.
It’s safe to say after nine years in the NFL Green has been on a rollercoaster ride, he still can be a number one wide receiver but could use some help to take the pressure off of himself.
Getting Green to the Buccaneers would allow him to shine again, surrounded by Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, and now Rob Gronkowski.
Having Green as a part of this receiving corps allows him to go out and play and not worry about being the number one guy.
Green wouldn’t have to play every offensive snap, giving his body the rest he needs as well as a mental break. It should also be understood that Bruce Arians would have a field day with a talent like Green.
The Bengals are rebuilding, and at this point, just about anybody is expendable. If the Buccaneers pull off this trade, it only adds to the unstoppable force of their offense.
