Kyle Pitts, Florida, Tight end

Sticking with UF, Kyle Pitts is another player for Bucs fans to keep an eye on.

The Buccaneers already have the best tight end room in the entire NFL, but there is still a scenario that could see Tampa Bay target that position in next years’ draft.

Tampa Bay currently has O.J. Howard, Rob Gronkowski, and Cameron Brate on their roster, all three of whom are starting-caliber players on any roster in the NFL. While this group looks set for 2020, 2021 is where the question marks start to pop up.

The rumors have been unceasing that the Bucs are looking for a trade partner for Brate. O.J. Howard still looks set to remain in Tampa for his fifth year in 2021, and Gronk is impossible to figure out. Tampa Bay could easily go from having three starters at the position to just one very fast.

Kyle Pitts would immediately come in and fix any problems created by one of these players departing. This draft pick would give the Buccaneers the best tight end duo in the NFL and lock that title down for years to come if they choose to keep Howard.

The Florida Gator can currently play any role that is asked of him in Bruce Arians’ offense, and the Bucs would have an additional blocker/receiving option for Tom Brady and his eventual replacement.
