Cadillac Williams (2005-2010)

The final spot on this list was very difficult to fill. For most fans, the top four players here will mostly be in everyone’s top-5. The fifth spot is where some contention will start.

On one hand, some players had longevity, but their play was inconsistent or sporadic. On the other hand, you have some players that only spent a few years in Tampa Bay, but they were able to be effective in their use.

The final spot came down to LeGarrette Blount and Cadillac Williams. Despite his short tenure, Blount was effective with his usage, posting one of the highest yards per attempt in franchise history with 4.6.

In the end, Cadillac Williams ended up earning this spot based on his three years as a full-time starter, which edges out Blount, and also on his production, which is also superior.

Williams struggled heavily with injuries, like Doug Martin, which severely hampered his ability to leave the legacy in Tampa Bay that he was capable of. However, his ability as a runner is still unquestioned. Williams didn’t start out as a great pass-catcher, but he grew into the role very well which also gives him an advantage over Blount.

If Cadillac Williams had been healthy throughout his career, he would have had a strong chance to end up higher on this list today than number five.
