3. Lavonte David

Lavonte David has been playing at a Pro Bowl level for years, analysts outside of Tampa Bay simply don’t notice it.

David enters this season as the sole leader of the Buccaneers defense and he’s going to have a major task ahead of him. He’ll partner with Devin White to clog the middle and continue to be a dominant run-stopper that he has been for years.

Though David has been good, a postseason runs means that he is even better than before.

The Bucs need their leader to step up and make some big plays, which will take some of the pressure off of the secondary and make the defense better as a result.
